This video talks about how to manage a city in a complicated situation with 4 steps. lets try to learn from it.
it is a city where there are many type of people: Tribes, Newcomers, Hypocrites, and multiple religions. and even the name of the city was bad.
in order to fix the issue there were 4 steps:
1- Found a suitable name for the city.
2- Regulations: it included things like: no racism, following the rules no matter from which tribe or religion you are, when war happens all should support each other even whom are unrelated, .... etc.
3- Make newcomers live with the older people: It might be tough in the beginning but learning to live together is the way to go.
4- Make Social fields to meet up: This help democracy and sharing ideas to help the improvement of the city.
ok so WIIFM?
1- What do you find your family or your work community known for? (cheerful people? Sad? active? aggresive?). Do you like what people think of your community?
2- Do you have rules? or everyone do whatever he likes and be a rebel?
3- Do you have job rotations in your company? or do your son ever get to know his brother more that live in the opposite room?
4- Do your employees express themselves to you? Do you know what are their interests and concerns? and finaly do you make a family day out? or family dinner once in a while?
I believe those ideas are nice to make us think about the places we live in for a while using the 4 steps.
