Like usual I tend to write what I learnt from the videos in order to help myself with self-improvement.
The host had a summary of 12 tips from the first half of "the successful story".
I divided them into two parts to make it as relevant to us, they include :
To Self:
1) Have Faith: Believing in our ideas make us more stable and know what we are doing.
2) Planning, and being proactive: we need to know our blueprint and where we are going, plus take action towards our opportunities.
3) Trainning/Learning: We have to practice and learn what we doing; no matter what it is. Example: (even the computer or phone we are using right now was something learned).
4) Balance between the Truth and personal preference: we need to distinguish between the right and self preference.
5) Patience, stability, and sacrifcing: Being patient is easy for one day but sustaining it for the whole is essential to reach our goals, also not to forget to sacrifice,
6) Mistakes are Neccessary: We should keep trying, once or twice is not enough for anything. (Thomas Edison?)
7) Be optimistic all time: optimism can help much even in tough times. try it!
8) Emotional stability: Drama is nice in movies for us to get engaged to it, but we can't motivate people if they see us drama queens.
9) The women (Your relationship): making synergy with goals and our relationships can be one of the strongest methods to achieve stablility in goal reaching.
To people:
10) Living in the society: Hiding successful person wont be known as a successful person.
11) Be socially responsible towards the whole: Reach goals doesn't mean harming the environment or even people. if we harm them then who will call us successful?
12) Ethics: truthfulness, Loyality, Trustability, effeciency, and effectiveness. we should have these at all time in all situation. think about it cheating will only bring short term success.
Lets ask ourselves now:
To Self:
1) Do you have 100% faith in what you believe in? if not you should look for another source of energy.
2) - Do you know what you want?
- Are you taking action towards it? or - Are you being passive? (you need to ROAR your way out)
3) Are you good on what you are planning to reach? if not, why not go learn about it?
4) Do you put your goals infront of your pleasures?
5) Are you able to work everyday as much as the first day you planned your goal?
6) Do you keep trying or just give up?
7) Are you cheerful or do you have this negative bubble around you that slow you down?
8) Do you think showing your anger is good cause you get attention? childrens do that too.
9) Do you take care of your wife and let her engage on your goals?
- Do you motivate your husband and make goals together with him?
- Or each is seperated?
To People:
10) Do you find yourself sitting in your room all day working hard and wanting to be famous, rich, or successful? please get out we want to see you. (if not all, atleast SOME want to see you)
11) Do you think people will help you achieve your goals when you take care of yourself more than anything?
12) Are you able to be a good person for people for the sake of your goals and beliefs instead of getting attention?
I know it is very long post but I believe if we take some time thinking about some of those questions and implement them in our lives it will help us a lot.
